What is the international delivery timeframe?

We typically process and dispatch orders within 2–5 business days, excluding made-to-order and customized pieces.

Some traditional handcrafted techniques require additional time and patience. For example, our natural lacquer jewelry involves multiple stages of air-drying, careful polishing, and hand-painting. As natural lacquer needs sufficient time to cure between stages, these pieces cannot be rushed. We appreciate your understanding and patience as each piece is carefully crafted.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number to follow its journey. International delivery times vary depending on the destination and local customs processing.

What is the return and packaging policy?

Every ZolanJewelry piece is thoughtfully presented in an elegant embroidered gift box, making each order a special experience from the moment it arrives.

To help protect your jewelry throughout its journey, we use additional protective packaging designed to minimize impact and protect against moisture during transit. Every order is carefully packed to ensure your jewelry arrives in excellent condition.

What is Chinese-inspired jewelry?

At ZolanJewelry, we seek to create jewelry that carries the spirit of Chinese culture.

Chinese civilization has endured for thousands of years, tracing its roots back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties. Across the centuries, it has experienced periods of flourishing, decline, profound upheaval, and renewal. Like a phoenix rising from its ashes, it has demonstrated an extraordinary capacity to endure, regenerate, and carry its cultural heritage forward.

Unlike many ancient civilizations whose cultural traditions were interrupted or lost, Chinese civilization has maintained a remarkable degree of continuity throughout its long history. Its ability to survive, adapt, and renew itself is an enduring part of its identity.

We see a meaningful parallel between this spirit and the nature of jewelry. Both carry something beyond the present moment: a sense of permanence, memory, and continuity that can transcend generations.

Through our jewelry, we hope to give this enduring cultural spirit a form that can be worn, cherished, and passed on.

What principles guide ZolanJewelry?

Among jewelry brands drawing inspiration from different cultures, grand stories and sweeping cultural narratives are not uncommon. Yet we believe that genuine cultural understanding should be reflected in the smallest details of a finished piece.

At ZolanJewelry, our commitment begins with the questions behind every design:

• Why choose a butterfly, an iris, or a lotus as a source of inspiration? What cultural meanings do these motifs carry, and what wishes do they express?

• How can delicate gold or silver wires be transformed into intricate structures without compromising their strength and durability?

• How can multiple layers of natural lacquer create depth and dimension in a floral design on a ring or bracelet, while keeping the finished piece visually light and graceful rather than thick or rigid?

These are the details we continually explore. We believe that cultural meaning, artistic expression, and technical craftsmanship should come together in the finished jewelry, rather than remain only in the story told about it.
